Theme 2. Past, present and future changes in Polar Regions

Polar regions experience and record past environmental and climatic changes. They are also influential factors in global changes because of the specific geophysical, geochemical, hydrological and dynamical processes, feedbacks and interactions that occur in polar regions. Reconstructions and observations of polar changes, and understanding of the processes at play are crucial for projecting future evolutions. This will be the focus of this theme "Past, present and future changes in Polar Regions".
